A musical comedy revolving around the entrants to the Golden Saxophone competition, this was Luise's second German feature film. She appears as"Marita Costa". The film includes a number of musical numbers written by B. Kaper, W. Jurmann, Paul Mann and Stephen Weiss, including the brilliantly titled Paso doble Mein gorilla hat 'ne Villa im Zoo.
